Brugherio - The town of Brugherio

Brugherio has a population of 30.617 abitanti (Brugheresi) and a surface of 10,3 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 2972,52 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 144 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Brugherio had a popolation of 29.849 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 30.617 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 2,57% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 10.815 families with an average of 2,83 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 137 and 156 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 19 metres.

Work and workers:There are 588 industrial firms employing 4.654 people that are the 53,16% of the total of the workers. There are 462 service firms employing 1.479 people that are the 5,28% of the total of the workers. There are also 630 firms employing 1.918 people that are the 16,90% of the total of the workers. There are also 73 administrative offices emplying 814 workers that are the 7,20% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 8.754 workers, that are the 28,59% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
