Bellano - The town of Bellano

Bellano has a population of 3.332 abitanti (Bellanesi) and a surface of 11,3 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 294,87 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 202 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Bellano had a popolation of 3.326 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 3.332 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 0,18% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 1.375 families with an average of 2,42 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 199 and 775 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 576 metres.

Work and workers:There are 60 industrial firms employing 276 people that are the 32,86% of the total of the workers. There are 72 service firms employing 156 people that are the 8,57% of the total of the workers. There are also 95 firms employing 285 people that are the 18,57% of the total of the workers. There are also 28 administrative offices emplying 262 workers that are the 11,31% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 840 workers, that are the 25,21% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
