Sarezzo - The town of Sarezzo

Sarezzo has a population of 11.607 abitanti (Saretini) and a surface of 17,3 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 670,92 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 280 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Sarezzo had a popolation of 11.044 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 11.607 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 5,10% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 4.217 families with an average of 2,75 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 245 and 1.324 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 1.079 metres.

Work and workers:There are 440 industrial firms employing 3.792 people that are the 67,73% of the total of the workers. There are 235 service firms employing 644 people that are the 4,20% of the total of the workers. There are also 250 firms employing 859 people that are the 11,50% of the total of the workers. There are also 54 administrative offices emplying 1.024 workers that are the 4,47% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 5.599 workers, that are the 48,24% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
