Iseo - The town of Iseo

Iseo has a population of 8.389 abitanti (Iseani) and a surface of 25,5 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 328,98 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 186 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Iseo had a popolation of 8.145 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 8.389 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 3,00% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 3.315 families with an average of 2,53 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 185 and 1.000 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 815 metres.

Work and workers:There are 172 industrial firms employing 759 people that are the 23,33% of the total of the workers. There are 303 service firms employing 664 people that are the 9,31% of the total of the workers. There are also 368 firms employing 1.408 people that are the 20,41% of the total of the workers. There are also 54 administrative offices emplying 1.388 workers that are the 11,31% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 3.253 workers, that are the 38,78% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
