Corteno Golgi - The town of Corteno Golgi

Corteno Golgi has a population of 1.991 abitanti (Cortenesi) and a surface of 82,3 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 24,19 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 925 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Corteno Golgi had a popolation of 2.100 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 1.991 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of -5,19% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 795 families with an average of 2,50 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 695 and 2.754 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 2.059 metres.

Work and workers:There are 79 industrial firms employing 320 people that are the 47,06% of the total of the workers. There are 39 service firms employing 72 people that are the 5,74% of the total of the workers. There are also 69 firms employing 207 people that are the 10,59% of the total of the workers. There are also 12 administrative offices emplying 44 workers that are the 10,15% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 680 workers, that are the 34,15% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
