Caprino Bergamasco has a population of 2.823 abitanti (Caprinesi) and a surface of 8,6 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 328,26 inhabitants per square kilometer. It rises 315 metres above the sea level.

Population: The municipality of Caprino Bergamasco had a popolation of 2.675 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 2.823 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 - 2001 a percentual variation of 5,53% inhabitants.

The inhabitants are distributed in 1.032 families with an average of 2,74 people per family.

The place: The territory of the municipality lies between 260 and 1.418 metres above sea level.

The altimetric spawn is thus of 1.158 metres.

Work and workers:There are 100 industrial firms employing 387 people that are the 53,53% of the total of the workers. There are 44 service firms employing 89 people that are the 6,09% of the total of the workers. There are also 58 firms employing 174 people that are the 12,31% of the total of the workers. There are also 15 administrative offices emplying 268 workers that are the 8,02% of the total of the workers.

There is a total of 723 workers, that are the 25,61% of the inhabitants of the municipality.
